Timon Volume IV is now Available Online

Book Launch Poster by AIMS Museo Maritimo

In celebration of History Month this August, we are honored to present the transcription of the Philippine Maritime History Forum Conference Proceedings. This special edition commemorates the 28th National Seafarers’ Day. Over the years, the museum has published conference proceedings featuring contributors from both academia and industry. This year, we are fortunate to include Dr. Michael Charleston “Xiao” B. Chua as one of our notable contributors and our CLAMS Dean Mr. Juan Martin Guasch. The fourth volume details the maritime history of the Philippines and includes a public history forum on various aspects of Philippine maritime history.

The AIMS Museo Maritimo is pleased to announce that "Timon: The Proceedings of the Philippine Maritime Heritage Forum Volume IV" is now available and can be accessed at the link below.

This proceedings aim to enhance knowledge and foster ongoing dialogue on Philippine maritime history. Like previous volumes, it seeks to broaden the scope of maritime knowledge and provide resources for further research on maritime heritage and industry. Most importantly, it offers additional insights into maritime history and heritage. The proceedings include the following identifiers:

  1. Creative Commons Attribution - Commercial 4.0 International License

  2. International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) 2719-1389

  3. doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.26317210

The whole team of Museo Maritimo would like to express our deepest gratitude and regards to all who supported the publication for the past years. We would also like to send our gratitude to our authors who supported this undertaking and shared their knowledge and expertise. Lastly, none of this will be possible without the support of our Vice President for Student Services and Development Ms. Janet Abuid-Dandan, and CLAMS Dean Mr. Juan Martin R. Guasch. The direction and diligence they provided were crucial in the accomplishment of the proceedings.

On behalf of AIMS Museo Maritimo, we would like to thank you for joining us in our endeavor to spread and experience the vast wonders and richness of the Philippine maritime heritage and industry. We hope that you will enjoy the proceedings.
